Pet Selection and Adoption Consultation

What kind of dog would be a good match for you and your lifestyle?  You want to get it right from the start.  At the consultation we will go through a process to find the kind of dog that will be best for you.

Puppy Play Time

Saturday socialization play time for puppies 10 weeks to 6 months of age. It's important that puppies are well socialized with people and other dogs. The playtime will help your puppy reach his full potential and alleviate any fear in the early development stages. Play time starts at 9:30 and will last for 45 minutes. Puppy parents socialize with other dog lovers over coffee and donuts while learning about appropriate puppy play. Cost is $15 and is paid at the door. Pre-registration is required with updated vaccination records for first-timers.

Adolescent Dog Play Time

Saturday social play time for adolescent dogs 6 months to 2 years. Playtime starts at 10:30 and will last for an hour. Dogs must be dog and people friendly. While your dog is playing you will have an opportunity to socialize with other dog lovers over coffee and donuts. Cost is $15 and is paid at the door. Pre-registration is required with updated vaccination records for first-timers.

Fun training games for dogs of all ages and all skill levels which help to build great relationships and well-mannered dogs. The games are based on basic skills: follow me, down, down stay, go place, loose leash walking, recall, sit, sit stay, stop and more.

Private Dog Training Lessons

Private classes are available for those who prefer one-on-one instructions in an environment that is comfortable for both you and your dog.  Private lessons are perfect for not only working with basic obedience but also with specific training challenges that you may be facing.  Basic obedience teaches a variety of foundation manners, such as loose leash walking, sit, stay, down, leave it and come when called.

Per session - $75
Additional dog per session - $10

Group Dog and Puppy Training Classes

Group classes are semi-private and limited to no more than 6 dogs.  They take place over a 7 week period.  Classes are appropriate for social, non-aggressive dogs.  All dogs must have their required rounds of vaccinations to participate.

All 7 Week Classes - $175.00

Puppy Foundation

The Puppy Foundation class is for puppies 8 to 16 weeks of age at the time of the first class.  Basic obedience, such as loose leash walking, sit, stay, down, leave it and come when called will be covered in the class.  We will discuss the proper care, training, and feeding of your puppy.

Adult Dog Foundation

The Adult Dog Foundation class is for dogs over the age of 16 weeks of age at the time of the first class.  We will focus on basic obedience, such as loose leash walking, sit, stay, down, leave it and come when called.  We will also learn about body language and preventing behavior problems.

Intermediate Dog Manners

This class takes it up notch from basic obedience.  Your dog must complete either Puppy Foundation or Dog Foundation before taking the Intermediate Manners class.  We will cover sit and down until released, go to your bed, wait at a threshold, stays with distraction,  loose leash walking, off/take it from objects on the ground, coming when called off leash or out at play.

Advanced Dog Manners

After Intermediate Manners you and your dog can move up to the Advanced Manners class where we will work on stays with distance and close proximity to other dogs, go to your bed from a distance, leash walking through a crowd, recalls off leash and more!
